Proposal of Simultaneous Wireless Transfer of Information and Power Using Parallel Lines

Abstract(in English) In order to widen feeding coverage, multiple inductive coils are required to spread out at feeding area in the Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology. On the contrary, authors have proposed to arrange the parallel feeder lines to the feeding area and promoted to simplify the transmitter configuration as compared withmultiple coils. In the parallel line feeder system, even using 13.56~MHz ISM band, a carrier of short wavelength, one is able to mitigate impact of standing wave to wirelessly charge multiple power-receivers located in wide area. This paper shows that one is also able to perform simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) with the parallel line feeder system by ASK (Amplitude Shift-Keying) modulating the 13.56~MHz carrier with $pm$ 100~kHz subcarrier. We implemented transceiver circuits and carried experiments to evaluate the system performances.
