Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For dynamic optimization problems, whose object functions are dynamically changed, tracking ability for the optimal or a local optimal solution is required. Some population based optimization methods perform well for static problems, however, they failed to trace the solutions because searching points converge to a point then ignore the variations of the functions. In addition, the outdated memory problem also prevents the tracking. These methods keep the better solutions and their fitness values as memories, however, the memories become outdated when the function changes. Some researches have solved the outdated memory problem based on re-evaluation of fitness, but undesired features of them have been reported. We have proposed an optimizer whose searching points provide complexity and variety by their chaotic motion. Focusing on this behavior, we have eased the condition to update the memory of the previous proposed method. As the results, the improved optimizer has achieved to track the solutions without re-evaluation of fitness.
