Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report deals with stabilization of propagating wave segments in an excitable medium. In our previous study [Katsumata, Konishi, Hara, NLP2016-2 (2016)], we identified a dynamics of wave segments, and proposed a two-degree-of-freedom control system to improve the performance of stabilization. However, our proposal was verified only in a simple model of excitable media. The propagating wave segments are often observed in the BZ reaction system. This report applies the proposed method to the Oregonator model, which describes the BZ reaction system precisely. We show on numerical simulations that the proposed method works well for propagating wave segments in the Oregonator model.
