Improvement of ROI data hiding technique for selected region of JPEG image.

Abstract(in English) In recent years, communication on SNS has become active with the spread of smartphones.In many services, when posting an image on SNS or Web, we can introduce the image to viewers correctly by accompanying additional data such as comments and detailed information.However, the image which is reuploaded to the outside of the services would lose its additional data.Hence it follows that viewers would lose additional data too.Therefore in this paper, we improved ROI data hiding technique which prevents the image from losing its additional data by limiting the targets of embedding i.e quantized DCT block coefficients. Then we obtained embedding capacity optimization and confirmed that the proposed method can suppress the increase of filesize and improve the PSNR of the image.
