Abstract(in English) Our previous study revealed that the physiological lordosis of cervical spine was reduced during normal swallowing in videofluorography. In the study, cervical regions needed to be manually extracted for all the frames of videofluorography. Therefore it was difficult to carry out the statistical analysis of cervical spine motion. The present study proposes an automatic tracking method of cervical spine by use of two-dimensional template matching. The tracking method was applied to the preoperative videofluorography of patients to undergo posterior spine fusion.
