| Abstract(in English) | The present study reports the results of our preliminary experiment of Janken (Rock-Paper-Scissors) conducted to investigate the mechanism of inter-personal coordination and synchronization in multi-modal interaction. We applied a dynamical systems approach and nonlinear time series analyses (cross-recurrence quantification analysis) to focus on and reveal real-time interaction through perceptual information in a process of social interaction. To examine the effect of the reveal real-time interaction, we compared an experimental condition (no perceptual information) with a control condition. As a result, the inter-personal coordination and synchronization differed between two conditions. These results support our hypothesis, perceptual information affects the interaction process and it might be considered as a self-organizing process. |
