| Abstract(in English) | In this research, we focused on one of the popular Social Networking Services, Twitter, where the number of users has rapidly been increasing. The purpose of this research is to activate conversation done by those who meet together for the first time in the actual world by using information which is available on Twitter. We extracted characteristic words by using word frequency and a co-occurrence relationship from data on Twitter, namely a user's profile, tweets, and the profiles of the other twitter users that the user follows. We had the survey subjects evaluate whether the extracted characteristic words properly expressed the user. As the result, approximately 80% of these characteristic words correctly expressed the user. Following these results, we proposed conversation support system using characteristic words from twitter. We confirmed the effectiveness of this system by comparing the topics generated based on the characteristic words provided by this system and the naturally-generated topics, while analyzing data obtained from the feedback survey, recorded footage, and audio data. |
