Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Accommodation functions by feedback control that begins with sensing blur of retinal images. Therefore, it is difficult to keep focus on a fast moving visual object by just relying on the feedback mechanism. We assumed existence of predictive accommodation control. Here we evaluated the possibility that accommodation control employs predictive component by abruptly turning off a visual target moving in the depth direction while human subjects were following the target.
