Abstract(in English) | Streaming data from IoT devices can be regarded as Information Flow, and new services are expected to distribute Information Flow by Edge Computing technology. We develop a control method to distribute Information Flow efficiently through Device to Device (D2D) offloading. When user service request changes frequently, D2D communication using the existing multicast routing protocol increases unnecessary streaming data duplication and consequently decreases communication efficiency. In this paper, we design a protocol of D2D Information Flow control, which determines communication passes based on service context and then avoids unnecessary streaming data duplication for unevenly-distributed groups of different service requests. Moreover, we evaluate performance of proposed protocol through discrete event simulations. |
