Abstract(in English) | In IoT applications that utilize sensors and small cell-phone devices, cloud-centric architecture is a mainstream at present. Thecloud-centric architecture's problems are pointed out; lack of networkresources, delay to feedback control, and security issue. In thiswork, we are considering that these problems are caused from theinflexibility of their IoT architecture. For a solution of theproblems, we propose a concept of ``flexible IoT'' that is based onour previous work of ``flexible network''. In this paper, towardsrealization of flexible IoT, we proposed a new IoT architecture thathas advanced features of human awareness and environment adaptation. Moreover, we discuss the required characteristics and functions of theproposed architecture. |
