| Abstract(in English) | Network society and e-government services are advanced, and the importance of personal authentication infrastructure increases. The PKI based personal authentication infrastructure has some problems such asconvenience, availability, security and cost. To solve these problems, public biometrics infrastructure (PBI) whichuses biometric information as a personal key is proposed. In this article, we clarify other problems of the PBI in thecase of public template update and signature generation. To solve the other problems, we propose two methods.One is a public biometric certificate update method over the network. The other is a public key certificate updatemethod based on biometric signature. Finally, we evaluate the security of the proposed method, and validate theeffectiveness of the method. |
