Abstract(in English) | In recent years, Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) communication technology based on the Wi-Fi technology has been used for vehicles to avoid from colliding each other. But in V2V communications the radio waves cannot get diffracted well enough where the cars cannot see through intersections. So it might not be able to prevent a traffic accident from happening. So we use mobile network to exchange location information such as longitude and latitude every 100msec and make vehicles use them to predict the locations of surrounding vehicles of near future and then avoid traffic accidents in any situations. But another problems will arise. LTE network will overflow in terms of radio resource and charge for the data might get so expensive to pay. So we have to reduce the amount of data packets and keep the location accuracy in the location management servers at the same time. In this study, we developed the data reduction/compression and communication method to reduce the uploading frequency of location information from the clients to servers in LTE network and keep the accuracy of location prediction at location management severs. |
