| Abstract(in English) | About spreading optical access technologies, the history of their research and development activities are presented from the early days until today. It becomes the necessity that a future optical access technology fuses with a radio technology such as ROF (radio over fiber) for the rapid development of the mobile communication, and a construction of ICT environment using effectively radio wave frequency resources by utilizing optical fiber cable networks introduced widely until now. Furthermore, new systems enabled by the ROF technologies are shown as well as integrated optics-radio technologies to be studied for these systems. |
