Abstract(in English) | Satellite communication has attracted attention as an effective means of communication during the flight of the aircraft. National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) has developed an aeronautical earth station equipped with the antenna system for automatic tracking for the Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite "KIZUNA" (WINDS), it has become possible to build a satellite line while moving. There is not much reported flight experiment of Ka-band satellite communications. In this paper, we report flight experiment of radio wave propagation measurements and the communication test in Ka-band satellite communications using developed the aeronautical earth station mounted on an aircraft. |
