Abstract(in English) | Toward 5th generation (5G) radio access network in mobile communications, in low-SHF-band, full digital Massive MIMO technology can be applied and digital joint processing of fixed beamforming (BF) and CSI-based precoding (digital FBCP) has been proposed as a digital BF scheme. In digital FBCP, the beam candidates of fixed BF weight were steering vectors generated at fixed angle space for azimuth and elevation. However, performance degrades when there are some users in angular direction close to end-fire. In this paper, generation method of unequal spacing beam candidates is applied to digital FBCP. Throughput performance of the method is compared to conventional beam candidates generation method. |
