Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Focusing on information-sharing process in contact situations of telephone conversation from both quality and quantity, the study discusses language behavior characteristics of Chinese Japanese learners who stay in Japan in different periods from the aspects of information-giving and information-receiving. Firstly, the result shows that there is significant difference in quantity of three speech categories, “meaning-negotiating”, “meaning-proving” and “information composition”, which were mentioned by Yanagida (2015). Secondly, the language behavior of learners is also influenced by the awareness. Learner who is keenly aware of “correct expression and comprehension”, “synchronization”, “appreciating their concerns”, “intimacy” and “politeness” more uses “information composition” to catch their attention by presenting opinions, while learner who is keenly aware of “correct expression and comprehension” and not keenly aware of “intimacy” and “politeness” more uses “meaning-negotiating” to create an atmosphere of communication between friends instead of awkwardness of first meeting.
