Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The interaction among African hunter gatherers had been manifested previously mainly through conversation analysis. The simultaneous experience of body senses is suggested equally important for communication analysis, as it could show the multimodality of human interaction. This contributes the Baka Pygmies’ case of tattooing, as the featured form of multisensory co-presence, aiming to demonstrate how they interacting with each other through the simultaneous body senses, and to figure out the social significance of the way that they presenting him-/herself to others in their daily life.
