Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an inbound traffic engineering (TE) technique into a multihomed autonomous system (AS) for the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) with provider aggregatable (PA) addressing. A multihomed AS with PA addressing scheme is assigned multiple allocated address spaces, which does not provide the capability of inbound TE. We present prefix announcement policies to support our proposed TE technique. An emulation environment with BGP using the Quagga software suite and PA address allocation by our developed HANA protocol is developed. We confirm that our proposed inbound TE technique, based on selective prefix advertisement, can control inbound traffic into a multihomed AS without using AS path prepending technique.
