Abstract(in English) Stable physical contact (PC) connection in realized using elastically deformed spherical convex polished ferrule ends. However, microscopic deformation of the fiber end face was not clear yet. We measured the return loss change of each core of the multi-core fiber and analyzed microscopic deformation of the fiber end face.
