Abstract(in English) In this study, the effects of Inner Speech, which is voices without outer-produced sounds or read by only inside of one’s head silently, for Japanese university students are analyzed. At first, how the inner speech has been developed in childhood of first native language speaker and the effectiveness of L2 learners are explained. The purpose of this study is to find out what and how the students are using the inner speech during the daily life and time they study. Robson.et.all. (2007) tried to find the effectiveness usage of university students’ inner speech, which the questionnaires have been adopted and revised for this research.
