Abstract(in English) Video streaming is now one of the main applications on mobile networks. Since the throughput fluctuates widely on mobile networks, adaptive bitrate control methods that control the video bitrate according to the fluctuation of the throughput have been developed. This paper proposes an adaptive bitrate control method for live video streaming on mobile uplink. The proposed method models the behavior of video packets on mobile uplink and controls the video bitrate so as to miximize the quality of experience (QoE) indicator. The method improves MOS, which indicates estimated QoE as a value between 1 and 5, by 0.2.
