Improvement of channel estimation performance in the time asynchronous environments of Multi-Beam Multi-Satellite MIMO Systems

Abstract(in English) We have studied the multi-satellite/multi-beam MIMO techniques on same frequency channel to improve frequency efficiency. In the previous work, we proposed a new interference canceller that adopts long UWs and novel AFCs applicable to the time/frequency asynchronous channel. As a results, it was confirmed the proposed canceller worked as expected when the UW of channel superimposes on the data of other channel. However, it was also confirmed that its performance was degraded when the UW of channel partially superimposes on the UW of other channel. This paper proposes an approach that adopts distributed UW pattern to overcome this problem and its fundamental performance was confirmed by computer simulations.
