| Abstract(in English) | This paper presents multimedia signal processing and the next generation of information retrieval that have been developed by the author. Specifically, associative image retrieval, which collaboratively analyzes unstructured data such as images and video and visualizes them according to their latent similarities for enhancing users’ serendipity, is introduced. This associative image retrieval can be applied to various actual fields due to its high applicability. Therefore, this paper shows specific trial applications of the associative image retrieval that have been carried out by the author. |
