Abstract(in English) The optical access network is becoming increasingly important as a social infrastructure because it is used for several services, and the availability of communication needs to be improved. We have been studying a cable re-routing operation support system that requires no service interruption. The outside optical coupler must be newly installed for this system. We report the design and simulation of a suitable branching ratio for an optical coupler for a cable re-routing operation support system with no service interruption, and also report our experimental results.
