Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Semi-transparent organic light-emitting diodes were fabricated using lamination process. Indium-tin-oxide (ITO) was used for both anode and cathode electrodes. Device characteristics were dramatically improved by inserting an ultra-thin polyethylenimine ethoxylated (PEIE) layer on ITO cathode. Transmittance of over 60% was obtained at wavelength of over 530 nm. Bright emission of 8,700 cd/m2 (@ 7.2 V, 500 mA/cm2) was obtained from ITO anode side.
