Abstract(in English) | For reducing background noise and improving the performance of synchronism, Framed-DOOK (Framed Differential On-Off Keying) has been investigated. Moreover, for better BER (bit error rate) performance, the Framed-DOOK turbo code communication system has been considered. However, the different APD noises between signal 'On' and 'Off' cause the BER performance of differential On-Off Keying decrease. In this paper, to enhance the BER performance of Framed-DOOK punctured turbo code communication system, a technique called UTPA (Unequal Transmission Power Allocation) is used. Furthermore, we evaluate the standard DOOK BER performance, and find a suitable UTPA ratio. The BER performance using the suitable UTPA ratio is presented. |
