Abstract(in English) Recently, pairing based cryptography, which is one of public-key cryptographies, has been paid attention. Mathematically, it has a close relationship with extension field, particularly, fundamental arithmetics such as multiplication. In order to make it practical, it is essencial to improve the fundamental calculations. Karatsuba method is widely used for reducing calculation costs. CVMA(cyclic vector multiplication algorithm) is also efficient, particularly for multiplication and Frobenius mapping. This paper considers to make CVMA more efficient and then evaluates the calculation costs compared to Karatsuba method.
