Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to improve one’s performances by implementing Pre-Performance Routine in a short time with an artificial successful experience. Conventional approach to implement one’s routine is to find one’s action that causes good results. However, it is difficult to effectuvely find a proper action that relates to a successful experience in a real world. Therefore, it takes a long time to implement one’s routine. To settle this problem, we focused on Virtual Reality (VR) as a way to easily produce a successful experience. We believe that an artificial successful experience produced by VR technologies helps to implement ones’ routine in a short time. We implemented a virtual golf simulator that give a false feedback as if their putts are successful. Our experiment revealed that our system could improve the performance of participants with worse score. Our result suggests that our system causes different effects depending on level of participants’ skill.
