Abstract(in English) | Many industries expect M2M services which collect a variety of data through sensor networks. However, in general, a sensor network is designed for applying a single service. On the other hand, ICN (Information-Centric Networking) is known as one of new generation networks. Applying ICN for sensor network, the sensor network platform to provide a variety of M2M services can be built. Additionally, sensors are mainly battery driven. However, many sensors will locate at the place where difficult to human access. For that reason, it is required that saving energy consumption of nodes. Moreover, not only data sending but also control message has effect on the energy consumption in a sensor network. We propose the route switching method with reduced control message for prolong network lifetime in providing multiple services via wireless sensor network. We evaluated the proposed method by simulation experiments and discussed its effectiveness. As a result, the proposed method is able to reduce number of control messages and prolong lifetime of sensor network. |
