Deployment of overlay network system by SDN technology

Abstract(in English) We, NTT Communications, developed a system which realize the overlay network on the wide area network using SDN technology. And we have provided VPN service to which applied SDN technology, Arcstar UniversalOne Virtual. All elements of the system of this service were developed by software. And the system core was built on a cloud platform. Then we found some advantages and problems different from a non-virtualized network system. I describe some advantages and problems, I found during the system building and management of Arcstar UniversalOne Virtual, caused by virtualization and SDN. And I also describe a solution method of problems.
