A study on estimation of number of spare equipments for telecommunication networks.

Abstract(in English) The authors have been proposed a method to estimate the number of spare equipments necessary for the next month from the failure rates of the past period. However, this method could not estimate the number of spare equipments with no failure. In this article, the authors propose a method of that estimation using the binomial distribution. Moreover, the example of estimation using actual outage data is also shown.
