A Method of Reducing the Internal Interference Noise in Intra-EMC using Decoupling Techniques

Abstract(in English) We have developed a novel design technique to reduce the electromagnetic coupling between an antenna and a noise source, with the aim of improving the communication performance of digital wireless equipment. In our previous studies, we proposed the design method that can quantitatively predict signal bit error rate by using the antenna interference power obtained from the weighted magnetic field product that has been calculated from the magnetic field distributions of the noise source ant the antenna. However, in actual equipment, there is a difficulty in that the location of the noise source is limited. In this paper, we propose a new design approach to reduce the electromagnetic coupling by adding the decoupling circuit between an antenna and a noise source. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified using a TEG to simulate a portable telephone. Further, we have confirmed that it is possible for our proposed method to reduce the electromagnetic coupling between the antenna and the noise source by optimizing the decoupling circuit.
