| Abstract(in English) | A connection circuit of a microstrip line and a lower parallel waveguide is necessary to connect a microstripantenna and a waveguide feeding circuit. Two different connection circuits of an upper microstrip line and a lower waveguide inparallel with the substrate composed of a planar microstrip-to-waveguide transition and a waveguide bend are designed and theperformances are compared in this work. The one is composed of an ordinary planar transition with a microstrip line insertedfrom the broad wall of the waveguide and an E-plane/H-plane composite waveguide bend. The other one is composed of atransition with a microstrip line inserted from the narrow wall and an H-plane waveguide bend. As results of the electromagneticsimulation, broad bandwidth was obtained due to the cancelation of the reflections from the two circuits out of phase dependingon the spacing in the former one. |
