Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this paper is to propose the development of rules that enable us to transmit our intentions through Computer Mediated Comunication. It is often said that once junior and senior high school students get a hold of so-called smart-phones, they continue to communicate with others until midnight because they are addicted to communication. There is the possibility, however, that they engage in this behavior not because they want to do it, but because they do not know how to terminate communication and to transmit their intentions to close communication to others in CMC. Building on that assumption, I first describe a mechanism that expresses our intentions and enable us to transmit them to others. Second, I propose a way to develop some simple rules which can be embedded into the mechanism. Last, I prove that the rules help us communication on our own initiative when we engage in communication.
