Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Virtualization of ICT system has made more convenient of its use. However, complicated system architecture by virtualization also causes various failures and makes trouble-shooting more difficult. Identifying the cause of failure which requires much skills and experience of system operation becomes more time-consuming task. In this paper, we propose a new method to obtain isolating action, which means the most important action, to identify the cause and to decide the next action for efficient trouble-shooting. Previous study have a limitation that it cannot obtain multiple isolating actions. Our new formulation as optimization problem using probabilistic modeling enabled to obtain multiple isolating actions simultaneously from operator's action logs. We evaluated efficiency and validity of our method using real operator's action logs observed in practical system management.
