Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the fifth-generation mobile communication system (5G) have been hot research topics to accommodate increasing mobile users' traffic. In 5G, although higher frequency bands above 10 GHz band are expected to be utilized for achieving wideband mobile communication, it is thought that diffuse scatterings of propagation waves would be more significant and it might affect MIMO transmission performance. In this paper, 11 GHz band MIMO channel measurements were conducted in an outdoor street micro-cell environment to clarify the issues. Propagation parameters of Specular Multipath Component and Dense Multipath Component (DMC) were estimated by RiMAX-based algorithm. The results showed that the DMC peak power was 10 dB lower than indoor environments. It also showed that the DMC angular spreads were large and the DMC Cross-polarization ratios (XPR) were 5dB lower comapred with indoor measurements. For future works, we will investigate the DMC's propagation mechanism, and then clarify the influence of DMCs on MIMO transmission performances.
