Computing Samples of Electron Trajectories on Nano-Carbon Materials based on Probability Currents

Abstract(in English) Electrons on some kinds of nano carbon materials, such as graphene sheets and carbon nano tubes with specific directions of circumference and cylinder axis, are described by the Dirac type equation.The equation can be transformed to an equation of continuity for the probability density function of electrons on the nanocarbon materials. From the equation of continuity, we built a model of the materials with hexagonal lattice structure. A virtual electron particle moves on the lattice probabilistically along with probability current in the equation of continuity.From numerical experiments, we found that the model successfully provided numerical samples of electron trajectories on the materials.
