Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mixed-mode oscillations (MMOs) have been the subjects of intensive research in recent years. In this study, we analyze the extended BVP oscillator with a diode that generates MMO-incrementing bifurcations (MMOIBs) successively many times and assert that MMOIBs are caused in a similar manner to that of period-adding bifurcations generated in the circle map. We predict that the universal constant could converge to 1.0. This study clarifies that why each MMO-sequence has a relation to a Farey sequence and is terminated by chaos in the parameter space.
