Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In social networking services (SNSs), social relationships among users, which are structured as electronicdata in the services, can be perceived by the users. On the other hand, people also perceive social relationships inthe real world, which we forecast will be also structured as electronic data as the Internet-of-Things (IoT) deviceswill be developed. A question here is how different a social network structure in the real world is from the oneperceived by people. There has been a variety of metrics measured from a social network structure like the central-ity, the similarity measured from common neighbor nodes, the clustering characteristics and so on. Although thesemetrics have been used in inuence estimation, new-friend prediction, and community extraction few researcheshave tackled how people perceive these metrics in the real world. Therefore, this report focuses on a metric named`unexpected relationship between two people', which means the two people have a week or no direct relation, whilethey have high similarity. Then, our experiment results show how different the objective metric is from the onepeople perceive subjectively.
