Abstract(in English) | Recently, in Japan, the digitalization of the terrestrial TV broadcasting systems have been finished, and supplementary FM broadcastings for AM ones and multimedia broadcastings have been introduced for efficiently utilizing the V-Low (VHF Low) band, that was a frequency band formerly assigned for analog TV broadcasting waves from Ch.1 to Ch.3. The V-Low band is now utilized by analog FM broadcasting systems in Korea. Especially in Chugoku and Kyushu regions, the V-Low band radio systems have possibilities of co-channel interferences caused by overreach propagations of FM waves from Korea. In this study, to evaluate characteristics of the overreach propagations, which are necessary to estimate the interferences in V-Low band, we have measured FM waves from Korea in Kyushu region for two years or more. This report shows the measurement results obtained in Kyushu University and Kyushu Institute Technology from Sep. 2013 to Sep. 2015. The measurement targets were FM waves from Busan, Changwon and Ulsan station in Korea. From the measurement results, it was found that the overreach propagations frequently occurred from March to October and the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) were increased 20dB or 30dB more than usual. And it was also confirm that the overreach propagations from Changwon station were affected by the mountain diffractions of Tsushima. |
