Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed a Kinect cane system which helped visually impaired individuals recognize chairs, desks, elevators, stairs and handrails. In this study, we newly propose a Xtion PRO LIVE cane system which is lighter in weight and does not need commercial power supply. We compare recognition accuracy between these system, and report the results of the comparison.
