Abstract(in English) The literature reported to the technical committee held on January 2016 is long on proposals designed to address comparative cognitive analysis to express verb meanings in English and Japanese but short on explanations about inflectable words and nouns in terms of practical usage. Without in-depth background understanding, it will be difficult for learners to handle verbs usage in the right way to describe one’s thinkings and give their expressions. This seems to be the key learnings with comparative cognitive way for non-natives to improve language proficiency by being more conscious about mother tongue. The paper will consider the perceived structures of spatio-temporal images envisaged in describing world and show how they are used in language education. A cognitive-related approach to learning language will be discussed in the paper.
