Abstract(in English) We have been developing the fabrication process of ferromagnetic nanodot arrays for bit patterned media (BPM) by using electrodeposition and lithography techniques. In this work, we attempted to fabricate FePt multilayer and FePt nanodot arrays (diameter; 15 nm, pitch; 35 nm) with multilayer structure by pulse electrodeposition. In terms of disappearances of FePt nanodots at high ordering temperature, it is necessary to fabricate FePt nanodot arrays at lower L10-ordering temperature. As a result, FePt multilayer exhibited higher coercivity at lower L10-ordering temperature. Moreover, FePt nanodot with multilayer structure by pulse electrodeposition could be formed uniformly, by optimizing the deposition parameters.
