Crystal structure analysis and magnetic properties of BiFeO3 thin film and artificial superlattice deposited on SrTiO3(110)

Abstract(in English) We investigate crystal structure and magnetic property of BiFeO3 thin film deposited on Nb-doped SrTiO3(STO) by pulsed laser deposition method. An isotropic grains were observed along STO[001] direction. BFO film was composed of monoclinic twin grains. The magnetic moments were 0.060μB and 0.036μB at 10K and 300K, respectively per one iron ion. From the temperature dependence of the magnetic moment, the magnetic transition temperature was estimated 650K, which is quite higher than room temperature.
