Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is a grand challenge for designing interactive artifacts to reveal what mental model human has when he/she interacts with artifacts. Human sometimes has a mental model for others even if he/she interacts with an autonomous artifact. However, there are few researches to investigate relationships between the interaction designs of artifacts and mental model (mental model for tools or others) he/she has. In this paper, we investigated the relationships between two different interaction designs and mental model by using an autonomous wheelchair as a case of artifacts.
