[Poster Presentation] A Broadband Filter Design for Common-Mode Noise Rejection with Multilayer Mushroom Structure in Differential Transmission Line

抄録(和) A new multi-layer mushroom structure to suppress common mode noise rejection in differential transmission line is proposed in this paper. It consists of a pair of differential transmission lines above the proposed multi-layer mushroom-like structures. To compare the transmission performance with respect to single mushroom-like structure. It is found that the proposed filter prototype can efficiently suppress the common mode noise over -10 dB from 3.4 to 13.41 GHz. And the corresponding fractional bandwidth is over 117 % while the electrical size of the prototype is 0.25*0.25 $lambda$g, where $lambda$g is the wavelength of the central frequency of its stopband. Furthermore, the differential signal integrity maintained from DC to 15 GHz. An equivalent circuit model will also be developed and applied efficiently to verify the proposed filter design.
