Bifurcation structure and chaos in dynamical system describing pulse combustion

Abstract(in English) We theoretically and numerically investigate the bifurcation structure of deterministic dynamical system describing nonlinear dynamics of a pulse combustor. The dynamic behavior of pressure fluctuations changes from steady-state to chaos via the period-doubling cascade process known as Feigenbaum scenario with decreasing wall temperature of combustion chamber. Two recurrence quantifications on the basis of dynamical system theory: recurrence rate and average diagonal line length enable us to quantify the subtle changes in the dynamical state.
