Development of the Hazard-Map Utilization Support System for Flood at Imizu city

Abstract(in English) Recently, large-scale disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake, Kanto and Tohoku Heavy Rain, and the Kumamoto Earthquake often occurred. The preparations to a disaster are expected based on the lessons of large-scale disasters. We propose the hazard map utilization support system for flood at Imizu city with positioning information, hazard information and database system. The new image processing algorithm is developed for the hazard map utilization support system. It is expected that the hazard map utilization support system is effective for reduction of the human and material damage.
