Abstract(in English) In this report, the steganographic methods especially for the palette-based images, such as graphic interchange format (GIF), are considered, and a new multibit data embedding method is proposed. In the proposed method, at first, index numbers is assigned to the colors in the palette and the parity of the pixel, in which the secret message should be embedded, is calculated by using the index numbers. Then the secret message is embedded into a cover-image so that the difference between the cover-image and the resultant stego-image becomes small by using the calculated parity. Through the experiments, the effectiveness and validity of the proposed method are verified.
