Abstract(in English) | In cellular mobile communications systems, it is an essential issue that communication quality at cell edge deteriorates by strong interference from neighbor cells. In order to solve this issue, we have proposed the Multi-BS cooperative transmission control method that can improve cell-edge performance by muting the interference signal coming from neighbor BSs. We have also evaluated the proposed method by computer simulations and experiments with a prototype system and clarified its effect on cell-edge throughput improvement. In this paper, we focus on handover performance deterioration caused by increasingly complex cell structure and interference among cells and clarify the effect of handover performance improvement by the application of the proposed method through computer simulations. |
